The propeller impeller is the most typical axial-flow impeller. It offers high discharge capacity and low shear performance. When used with baffles or a draft tube, it provides stronger axial circulation and significantly improved discharge performance. Because of its strong circulation capability and low power consumption, it shows particular advantages in low-viscosity, large-capacity homogeneous mixing processes. It is widely used in heat transfer, reactions, suspension at low solid-liquid ratios, dissolution, and other processes involving low-viscosity liquids. At high rotational speeds, it can be equipped with a stabilizing ring structure, which uses the damping force of the liquid to provide radial support to the agitator shaft and improve shaft stability.
